Tuesday 8 January

Prince Michael visits HMP Wandsworth, where he is met by Governor Ian Mulholland. After opening the Prison Museum, Prince Michael tours the Prison and meets staff and prisoners, before officially opening the new 'E' Wing.

Thursday 10 January

Prince Michael visits the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce London office in his capacity as Patron.

Monday 14 January

Prince Michael presents the Mountbatten Medal Letter of Commendation to Police Constables Daniel Gooch and Tom Bond of the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary at Kensington Palace. He also presents a Royal Life Saving Society Honorary Commonwealth Life Governorship to Mrs Jenny Stebbing.

Tuesday 15 January

Prince Michael meets the Malaysian High Commissioner H.E. Dato Abdul Aziz Mohammed and Counsellor Ms Nadzirah Osman at Kensington Palace to discuss Prince Michael's forthcoming visit to Malaysia.

Prince Michael visits HMS Heron in Somerset and participates in naval training exercises accompanied by his Equerry, Lieutenant Commander John Lewis RNR.

Tuesday 22 January

Prince Michael arrives in Singapore for the start of his tour of the Far East, where he meets the British High Commissioner, H.E. Mr Paul Madden.

Wednesday 23 January

Prince Michael reviews the Land Transport Authority road safety systems in Singapore and attends a luncheon given by the Singapore Life Saving Society.

Accompanied by Sir Robin Knox Johnston, Prince Michael visits the 'Hull & Clumber Clipper', one of three UK yachts participating in the Round the World Race, in the Marina at Keppel Bay.

Prince Michael attends a dinner hosted by the Lodge of South East Asia, as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons.

Thursday 24 January

Prince Michael departs Singapore and arrives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Friday 25 January

Prince Michael meets the Director General of the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research, Professor Radin, before attending a Luncheon with The Life Saving Society of Malaysia where he presents a number of RLSS Commonwealth Honours.

Prince Michael as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons attends a District Grand Lodge meeting and dinner at Dewan Freemasons.

Sunday 27 January

Prince Michael departs Kuala Lumpur and arrives in Phuket, Thailand.

Monday 28 January

Prince Michael attends the official Masonic Consecration of Premier Siam Lodge in Chalong, Phuket.

Tuesday 29 January

Prince Michael departs Phuket and arrives in Hong Kong.

Wednesday 30 January

Prince Michael attends a meeting and luncheon of the Hong Kong District Grand Lodge at Zetland Hall Masonic Centre. He then visits 'China Coast Community' in Kowloon, to present a donation from the District Grand Lodge of Hong Kong to their Chairman Mr Richard Cater.

Prince Michael attends an Awards Dinner with The Hong Kong Life Saving Society at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, where he gives a speech and receives the Golden Dolphin Award.
